For Squads:
There is no Performance and Silver squad on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Bronze squad is still on on Saturday.
For competitors (and parents).
Parking at Homebush is $15 for the day.
The clubs sit on the grandstand area on the 1st left after entering the centre. They will be sitting in line with the diving end of the pool.
Swimmers please come and check in with Kaz and/or myself when you arrive so we know you are here.
Typically swimmers should aim to arrive 2 hours before the timeline says their race is on. This allows some breathing room and keeps things more relaxed. Swimmers should talk to coaches about when to warm up. Typically (though it can be different for some individuals) we aim to warm up 70 minutes before the race to leave time for changing, stretching, hydration/food and marshalling.

Coaching Qualifications
The 1st level coaching qualification course is currently being organised to run at Lithgow. Normally this course is only run in Sydney, however this event is a chance for people locally to learn about coaching and swimming technique. The course is primarily for swimming parents with an interest in swimming.
At present Paul is seeking interest from parents that would like to go. It will be run at the end of July/Start of August. A date will be set if there is enough interest. If you are interested and want to recieve more info and when the date is set please contact Paul at [email protected]

Swimming Club
Swimming club continues after the holidays on roughly every second Thursday night. Can swimmers please try and get to their club nights and practice some racing. This maintains swimmers motivation and lets them see their improvement. It also prepares swimmers to achieve their best results at carnivals. Combined club is on at Springwood at 7pm and on at Katoomba at 6pm. If you haven't tried it before please turn up a little early and speak to the the people sitting at the desks next to the pools.
