Representative Meets
Representative meets include swimming in competition from a regional level through to national open level.
For more information on the different types of meets that run through the year visit the target carnivals page on this site. Higher level rep meets have qualifying times that need to be achieved in order to swim at them. Three of these meets: Country, State and Nationals, are major target meets for many swimmers. More information on these carnivals can be found below. |
Country ChampionshipsAt this meet swimmers from country clubs around N.S.W. compete over a weekend. This is the first goal carnival for most swimmers to try and qualify for.

State AgeThe fastest age group swimmers in the state compete at this meet with the ten fastest swimmers of each event going through to the finals that night.
|
Australian AgeAt the end of the summer season is the number one meet for age group swimmers. Running for one week with heats in the morning and exciting finals at night, qualifying for this meet is a major achievement.
