Squid classes are for swimmers who aren't yet ready for Mini Squad. These classes focus on improving weak areas of technique in preparation for mini squad. Squid classes are not offered at every swimming center.

mINI sQUAD
Mini Squad is the first level of squad training. In this squad swimmers focus primarily on technique while building some basic fitness.

Suggested number of sessions per week: 2-3

Average age of swimmers: 8-12
bRONZE sQUAD
Bronze squad is an intermediate level of squad training. In this squad swimmers continue to focus on technique alongside building a higher level of fitness.

Length of sessions: one hour and a half
Average age of swimmers: 10-14
sILVER sQUAD
Silver Squad is an advanced level of training. In this squad swimmers focus on developing technique and fitness for competition.

Suggested number of sessions per week: 5-6
Length of sessions: one hour and a half or two hours
Average age of swimmers: 13-16
pERFORMANCE sQUAD
Performance squad is an elite level of training. In this squad swimmers focus on perfecting technique and building a very high level of fitness for competition.

Suggested number of sessions per week: 7-8
Length of sessions: one hour and a half or two hours
Average age of swimmers: 14-18
aDULT sQUAD
Adult squad training is for swimmers aged 18 and over. Swimmers focus on building fitness and improving technique.

Average age of swimmers: 18-80
sWIM fIT
Swim Fit is for older teenagers who do not wish to train for competitive swimming. The program focuses primarily on aerobic fitness and some sprinting.

oPEN tRI sQUAD
Open Tri squad is for open water swimmers and triathletes who wish to develop their swimming fitness and technique. The program primarily focuses on freestyle and endurance training.
