In the second week of the school holidays is National Age. This event is held at Brisbane and we have four swimmers from our squads representing at the event. Good luck to Connor, Zac, Kelsey and Haig alongside coach Kaz over this week!

Squad Starts Back
Squad resumes after the holidays at Springwood on Wednesday 26th April and at Katoomba on Monday the 1st May.
Timetables
Please check out the latest updated timetables here. At Katoomba lane space is available from 5pm onwards so this has shifted the squads back 30 minutes. Performance squad: Tuesdays and Saturday sessions have been changed to two hours and Thursdays to 1.45.
Coaches
Over the winter Coach Ella is having a break from coaching to focus on her uni commitments. Rest assured that Springwood silver swimmers will continue to work with one coach to provide a consistent program through the season. Coach Jacqui will run the silver squad through the winter.
Target Carnivals
Here is a list of the target carnivals for the season. Please note that the later carnivals will need to be confirmed for the second term:
13th May: Cherrybrook Carlile Carnival
1st - 2nd July: Country SC Championships
13th August: Springwood Carnival
25th - 27th August: State Age 13+
9th - 10th September: State Age 12-

Team App
This newsletter and others will be made available on an App called Team App. This app can be downloaded for free for Android and Apple phones. The team is called Mountain Swim.
Squad Meeting
On Wednesday the squad meeting will still be on. This will probably be a smaller meeting and shouldn't go too long. The details are:
Springwood Sports Club at 7.30 pm, Macquarie Room.
From May onwards I will need to change the time to 8pm as I need to coach squads till 7.30pm on Wednesdays at Katoomba. The meeting will continue to be the second Wednesday of the Month.
