Swimming for Parents

 A book called Swimming for Parents is a great place to start to find out information on what to expect in swimming squads.
 
While the book has direct benefits for parents of swimmers of all ages, feedback from parents’ indicate that the book provides invaluable information and support to:

• Parents who are new to the sport; and
• Parents of children aged 8 years to 16 years who have been involved in the sport for more than 2 or 3 years; and
• Parents of swimmers competing at a District, Regional, State and National level.

 
By reading this book, parents will be provided with strategies to be supportive of our Swimming Club, their child’s coach and their own children.
 
The squads will in turn benefit by having a group of well educated and supportive parents as a part of our team.
