Upcoming Events
Swimming Clinics/Workshops
This summer season a number of new swimming clinics and workshops are being organised for the squads. The clinics workshops will be free training days for Mountain Swim squad swimmers where we will focus on improving particular skills or presenting information about swimming to swimmers. Clinics will often involve guest coaches, specialists or high profile athletes and there may be a cost to cover this.
Please access the current workshops planned so far here
Underwater Filming Sessions
A schedule for swimmers to come in and be given feedback including underwater filming will run this summer season. The schedule will shift between squad levels to allow all swimmers to have the opportunity to view their own technique underwater. The schedule will be published at the start of term 4. It will mainly run on Thursday afternoons.
S.O.P.A.C. Training day
Prior to Senior State Age I would like to run a S.O.P.A.C. training session for Silver and Performance squads. This will be a single day session where we travel down to S.O.P.A.C. and practice in the same pool the swimmers will be racing in. I would like to organise a car pool if possible to have this run. If parents are interested in being involved with the car pool and coming down could they please email me. I am aiming at an early December date such as 4th or 6th December.

Updating the Emailing List
For the summer season a new updated emailing list is being created. The emailing system will function differently from before allowing better communication as this has been tricky to manage. Using the new software swimmers and parents can sign up instantly to any of the emailing lists and can swap, change or delete their subscription at any time. Swimmers will receive any group information relating to that list.
Please visit the link below to sign up for all new emails. The summer emailing list will be used at the start of term 4.
