Proposed summer timetables (draft)
Below are the proposed summer timetables. Based on feedback over the last few weeks the timetables have undergone a few changes with a number of additional sessions being added. The changes are also outlined below. Please be aware that I am still waiting on confirmation of these time slots, I just wanted to get something out before the holidays.
Glenbrook Pool
Mini squad has been switched to Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon. On the Monday afternoon swimmers can go directly from their squad sessions to swimming club. Swimmers in the stroke classes will also be able to see the next level to progress to.
Bronze squad and Silver squad start earlier on Tuesday and Thursdays. Swimmers will be able to be home earlier and should have more lane space to train at their level. Both Kaz and Adam will be able to provide attention and feedback to swimmers in these squads as Performance squad will train afterwards.
The bronze squad session on Friday mornings will keep running in the summer. Both Adam and Kaz will be there on the Friday morning.
Silver squad will run on three weekday mornings (Mon, Wed, Fri) start at 5.30am. Additionally the Saturday has been changed to a two hour session to help boost fitness levels for the summer.
Performance squad has two skills based sessions. These sessions will be a one hour long set focusing on high intensity race practice, starts and turns. One is designed for Glenbrook club swimmers and runs right before their club racing on Monday. Similarly the Thursday night session is designed for Springwood club swimmers and will run at Springwood right before their club racing. The new setup allows for Kaz to coach both these sessions and be able to go to both club nights. Swimmers can do both of these sessions if they wish.
An extra session has been added for performance on Friday evening. This session will run providing there are at least 8 swimmers able to attend regularly. For the really keen swimmers there is training up to nine times a week!

Springwood Pool
A silver session will run with the Bronze squad on Wednesday and Friday afternoon (Monday may also be added). Swimmers currently doing bronze that are ready to move up a level will be able to do so without many changes to their normal timetable.
Coaches Sarah and Corin will be coaching the sessions at Springwood pool in the summer.
There are some long course Glenbrook sessions added to the Springwood timetable for silver also.
Saturday bronze will keep running in the summer in the same time slot as winter.

Katoomba pool
The timetable for Katoomba will need to be confirmed later. The change to club nights and available lane space for mini squad may affect this timetable. I wanted to provide a draft timetable now though.
The timetable has been kept as close to the winter one as possible to provide consistency. With the possibilities of new coaches joining us (more info in a later announcement) it may also be possible to add a Wednesday afternoon session.
Depending on Learn to Swim the mini is set to run prior to Bronze and Silver. It may need to be switched around however if lane space is not available which means Mini would run at the 6pm time slot. I will let people know when I have confirmation.

Country regionals
This summer Country Regionals is on in Wagga. At the last meeting we discussed the idea of hiring a bus to take us out. I will look into this over the holidays and send out more info soon.
